Mr. Mischel’s weekly message:
Good morning Conwell Tigers,
Hope you had an amazing weekend thus far. The Winter Olympics are off to great start on the other side of the world, and here back in NJ, we are looking for the end of the rain. We have a lot of important announcements for the week so listen up….
There is a half day for all students on Tuesday. Please make arrangements for your children to be picked up by 12:30PM. Report Card distribution will begin promptly at 1:30 PM and will end at 2:55PM. If you cannot pick up your child’s report card, you can email your teacher to schedule a conference for a later date.
There will be Cubs choir on Wednesday after school. The Conwell Kidz NPAF rehearsals will take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Engineering Club on Friday and they are selling t-shirts, smencils and pretzels at lunch time for Space Camp.
Many classes will be observing the hundredth day of school this week. Individual teachers will share any information they may have.
On Wednesday, join the staff in wearing red for VALENTINES DAY. If your child plans on bringing in Valentines cards for children in the class, please make sure to include EVERY child.
I leave you with these words….that still resonate today and will forever by the late great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”
Have a wonderful Sunday!!
